Bookings

Slims is one of Sydney’s most popular venues & we receive a lot of phone calls. As such we no longer accept phone bookings of any kind & all bookings must be made online. There are a few different options:

1. Walk-in: Our host will find you a seat. We do not allow customers to ‘hold’ tables for friends arriving at a later time - all of your party must be present to be seated. We suggest having a drink on another level until your group has arrived.

2. For bookings of 30 or less people you can book a table online. All of your party must be present to be seated. Bookings held for 15 minutes only.

3. For bookings over 30 or for a Booth, Pavilion, Event or Exclusive hire please email drink@hydeparkhouse.com

4. Our typical capacity in non-Covid ‘normal times’ is 300. We tend not to take Exclusive bookings unless it makes commercial sense for us to close off the venue to our regular patrons.

Terms & Conditions:

We have a number of T&Cs that apply to all bookings. These are to make things easier for you to book & for us to manage. We do not bend or break these T&C’s for that reason.

• A pre-authorisation or minimum spend applies to all bookings. If you do not want that then you can walk-in. We cannot advise if you will be ok to walk-in on a specific day as it depends on a lot of things however, outside of the busy Christmas & New Year period you will generally not have a problem finding a seat on Mon, Tue, Wed for lunch or dinner. As the week builds up, so does the rooftop. If you are looking to bring a group on Fri & Sat then we suggest booking.

• We have a strict cancellation policy which relates to the specific day & time of the week. That info is available during the booking process. If you are not 100% sure of your booking then please hold off booking until you are.

• Bookings Sun-Fri are 2 hour, 30 minute slots. Saturdays are 3 hours, 30 minute slots.

• We adhere to the NSW law in regards to the Responsible Service of Alcohol. Please do not pre-load or tack a rooftop booking on to a lunch or dinner you have elsewhere & arrive intoxicated. Patrons that arrive intoxicated, in our absolute discretion, will be denied entry & no refunds will be provided whatsoever. With that in mind, rest assured that we are not the fun police, we want people to enjoy themselves in our venue but we have to abide by the law.

Slims is a bar rather than a restaurant. When you arrive you will notice the view & the vibe. On weekends we have DJ’s & we are set up for mingling & having a good time, rather than having a quiet meal. Pre-Covid everyone wanted to mingle, post-Covid we have noticed that people are used to sitting (due to the previous requirements) & are looking for that plus a quiet meal & catch up. Early in the week the rooftop is subdued so that will not be an issue but as the week ramps up, so do we. eg. Friday, Saturday & Sundays are generally lively so come prepared to have fun & enjoy great food, strong beverage & good times.

Please note that Slims Rooftop is a +18 venue - no minors on the rooftop. We do not allow minors, bucks parties, mad-Mondays, d*ck-heads, dress-ups, pets, overt hens parties (ala penis straws & sashes), 18th to 21st birthdays. We’re all about fun but not at the expense of everyone else.

Slims Brunch Club

Slims Brunch Club returns on Saturday & Sunday’s on the roof with bookings at 12pm & 1pm.

All Brunch bookings are $90pp for 2 hours & include:

• Bottomless Pinot Grigio, Rosé, Prosecco, Fellr, Tap Beer & Cider +

• Guacamole,  Salmon Avocado Sushi, Beef Skewer Salad, Tempura Prawn, Corn Rib, Chicken Katsu Slider & Fries

• Upgrade to Bottomless Classic Margarita, Aperol Spritz & Espresso Martini’s for $30pp
